We'll welcome you with a lovely Tribute Book (one per ticket) and send you off to the Memorial Plaza for some fun. The plaza will include two bars - a BEER Bar (thanks to Blue Palms Brewhouse) and a FULL bar (thanks to Young's Market and Tricia La Belle). With a drink in hand, you can browse through our silent auction, tour the museum, or engage in several fun activities:
The silent auction is different than ever before! Amazing photographs and art will get your attention, while celebrity-signed authentic LAFD Helmets and other goodies will tempt you to bid on everything!
Dinner is once again prepared by Los Angeles Firefighters and we've taken steps to ensure you get your food quickly and have time to enjoy it.
Desert and coffee is full-service - it comes to your table.
Entertainment will keep you tapping your toes while you eat.
Our Live Auction will be limited to several very exclusive pieces - each one highly desirable. And, each one available to the highest bidder.
The awards presentations will be brief, but it will be Hollywood's last chance to honor Robert Gladden in 2008. We will also honor Nanci Ryder, President of B|W|R Public Relations, for the amazing support she's poured into her local fire station.
The entertainment will cap the evening off. Including short films, music, fire dancers, and other hip, L.A.-only types of performances, you'll go home feeling like you've left all your troubles behind... It's how we should feel every day!
